Girl Scouts - Audubon Council was chartered by GSUSA in 1922 and serves girls and adults in a ten parish area. The following areas are part of our jurisdiction: East Feliciana, West Feliciana, Pointe Coupee, Iberville, West Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge, Livingston, St. Helena, Ascension and Assumption parishes. In addition to traditional Girl Scout programming, Audubon Council also provides outreach programs to many underserved areas throughout its jurisdiction.
Audubon Council operates its headquarters in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Council Service Center includes a 2,300 square foot Program Center for activities, a Council Shop and staff offices. Under the leadership of our CEO and Board of Directors, we bring Girl Scouting to nearly 9,000 girls and 3,000 adults annually.
Girl Scouts - Audubon Council has an annual budget in excess of $1,600,000 supported by the Capital Area United Way, cookie activity, Family Partnership Campaign, individual and business donations, and grants.
