The 2007-2008 Girl Scout Cookie Program activity is a CHALLENGE to all Girl Scout cookie entrepreneurs to share their awesome experiences with other Girl Scouts, their councils and Girl Scouts across the country. We’re looking for creative ways to spread the word that we have the most successful entrepreneurial activity for girls in grades 1–12 in the world. Last year girls sold over 200 million boxes of Girl Scout cookies. By achieving individual and team learning and sales goals, girls not only help their councils provide Girl Scouting in their community, but they also visit places they have never been before, help their communities with service projects, and have a lot of fun in the process.
Here's How It Works
This year, to earn the National Girl Scout Cookie Activity Pin, GSUSA is challenging girls to "Dare to Share" their best Girl Scout Cookie Program practices creatively through pictures and stories. Please review the age-specific files below that correlate with your troop.
When submitting your completed challenges, please include the order form below with your payment option to receive your 2008 Cookie Pins.
All submissions should be sent electronically to cookiepin2008@girlscoutsaudubon.org. Please format the subject line with: Audubon_Troop#_Leader’sLastName_6-12or1-5.
Have your girls had a fun experience in Girl Scouting that they would like to share? If so they may be able to earn the Add-A-Member Patch. Any Girl Scout qualifies for the 2008 ADD-A-MEMBER patch when she recruits a new troop member from December 1, 2007 to May 1, 2008. Girls can plan troop activities that show their friends what they like most about Girl Scouting. After they join the troop (by completing a membership form, paying national dues, and submitting it to the council service center) she is eligible for the patch. Each year the patch is tied with the cookie theme. Click here for the Add-A-Member patch form.

A successful Cookie Season is much like a five-act play. There are five proven strategies (acts) that lead to a terrific finale — while building skills that will serve girls for a lifetime.
Act 1 – Set & Share Team Goals
Act 2 – Set Personal Goals
Act 3 – Hold a Family Meeting
Act 4 – Sell Beyond Family and Friends
Act 5 – Track your progress and Make it a HIT!
It will also require teamwork, creativity — and diverse mix of talents! We need you! Service Units 609, 620, 625, 635, 644, 647, & 651 are searching for their star talent to direct their 2008 cookie production.
